Robert
F. Messinger
Mr. Messinger attended The
American University where
he received his B.A. in International Studies in 1981, the University
of Southern California where he received his M.P.A. in Public
Financial Management in 1987 and the University
of Illinois where
he received his J.D. in 1994. Mr. Messinger also pursued Japanese
language studies at Waseda
University in Tokyo, Japan from 1983-1985.
Mr. Messinger was admitted to the California Bar in 1994 and
the Colorado Bar in 1995. He was Notes Editor from 1992 to 1993
and
Editor-in-Chief from 1993 to 1994 of the Recent Decisions Section
of the Illinois Bar Journal and a founding Member in 1992 to
1993 and Associate Editor from 1993 to 1994 of The Elder Law
Journal. Mr. Messinger is also a real estate broker licensed
by the California Department of Real Estate.
Mr. Messinger has been engaged in the practice of law since 1994. Prior to establishing his law offices, Mr. Messinger practiced
with Burke, Williams & Sorensen, where he was a partner,
and with Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, where he was an
associate. Before becoming an attorney, Mr. Messinger was employed
in the California public sector, serving as an Assistant to
the City Manager and an interim Finance Director.
